Newcastle appoint leisure industry executive as deputy chairman.
Newcastle have appointed businessman Derek Llambias as deputy chairman.
Llambias, whose career in the entertainment and leisure industry stretches back more than 30 years - most recently as managing director of the exclusive Fifty Club in London - is the latest addition to the club's new-look board.
Chairman Chris Mort said: "We are very pleased to welcome Derek on to the board of Newcastle United. "Derek's experience in the hospitality industry will certainly complement the work already being done by the club to realise its full potential."
Mr Llambias, a current box-holder at St James' Park, is a long-term acquaintance of owner Mike Ashley.
