It's eight years since smarmy football club boss Douglas Hall, along with chairman Freddy Shepherd, labelled North East women "dogs".
One North East woman who didn't take kindly to the remark - or reports that Hall had romped with prostitutes in Marbella - was his wife, former beauty queen Tonia.
Well, every "dog" has its day and Thursday was Tonia's.
She emerged from a long and protracted divorce battle with a reported £4m settlement.
Not nearly enough though, if you ask me.
